Friends: why did Monica change?

Has anyone else noticed how Monica in friends changed in later series?

She changed personality totally, and her voice changed to a really whiny squeeky one and she got really bossy.



I know all charachters changed as the years went

on and evolved, but she was just a lovely charachter to someone really horrible,,,,,,,,,,



Was there a reason for this change in the plot line or in her personal life?/

Who knows really? Her character went through a lot of drama with her failing relationship with Richard. I guess she was just getting older and wanted to be married and have kids so she was getting bitter.Friends: why did Monica change?

It's kinda true when you think about it. I reckon it could be her transition from a friend to a married woman. Maybe? She's still my fave though
