You can't change your personality unless you want to.

I worry way too much about what everyone else thinks about me, but I'm really outgoing and spontaneous.

Just fake your confidence.

You have to set your mind to wanting to change, then you will.

Just saying you want to won't do anything. How do i change my personality?

Here's what you do! Get the book Personality Plus by Florence Littaur

First you have to find what your personality is in the first place then you have to build off of it. The book includes a test at the beginning that let's you know what you are. Not only has it helped me understand myself, i can figure out others! Good Luck

To begin, we are all terrible judges of our own personality. What we perceive ourselves to be, personality wise, is usually not the same as what other people see in us as individuals. What we really feel in our hearts is often not what we project in our personalities. Confidence builders and the process of maturing into the adult that we become will develop our personalities. The influence that you accept by mixing with good people with sound moral character will advance you to become an individual that you will be happy and satisfied with later on in your life. Those unfortunate people who are influenced by people who they think are cool and smart and in actuality are bound for a substandard life are to be pitied. Surround yourself with wisdom and intelligent minds and you will unconsciously mimic what you are exposed to during your formidable years.
