How difficult would it be to change personality type?

very hard, if not impossible.

Because lets say according the the Myers-Briggs Personality Test you are a ENTP, which I am, meaning I

Extrovert, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving...if I were anything else, then I would be something else, maybe an Introvert.

What I am trying to say, you are what you are in the moment.

If you have some type of negative personality characteristics, like being a compulsive liar, with professional help, you can overcome that and change, but it would be extremely difficult.

Remember the saying, ';A leopard never changes its spots';, so even if you do manage to change, people's perceptions of you may not change. How difficult would it be to change personality type?
If you try to change someone else, it is almost impossible.

The person him or her self has to be the one who is willing to change - however, if you can be influential to someone, then that person may be willing to change to be more like you - but it takes a lot of time and energy.
