I already know, almost exactly, what I want to be. I want to apply a sort of fixed-role therapy to myself, but I'm not a professional, and I don't think my councilor is qualified to help me. She's a kind of hyperactive intern, fun to talk to, but she isn't ready for therapy. Do I need to write about the role or do I only need personality traits? And what is a good method of integrating the personality into real life, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of writing on fixed-role therapy and it isn't applied to permanently change personality. I'm really dedicated to this, though. How do I change my personality?
This might help: http://www.wikihow.com/Change-Your-WholeHow do I change my personality?
who ever you are now is who you truly want to be, that is why you are. did you actually think that personality was YOURS? it was created by everything you have learned in your life (because we are who we learn to be, no?).
this is what you must realize: the reason you are not who you want to be is because you are not BEING who you WANT to be. If you provided details, I could have explored your situation further, but making lists will not change you. you must be, you must do, you must act
if you remain unchanged after ever trying to be different, it is because you fear something or resent the reactions of you're peers/friends to your new attitude.
try as you may you can't. Don't try. There is nothing wrong with your personality,it is beautiful and original.
